We are back in the Philippines after almost four months in Taiwan, spent time with family and friends. Thank you for your prayers and support for us both. We had a great time there and I am amazed how God has provided all of our needs and we could still bless others. We just spend time to get to know each other more deeper without the responsibility of ministry. We were satisfied with our time together, I thank God for everything.
We are now here in YWAM Antipolo to commit as staff. Please include us in your prayers because my wife is still adjusting to new environment, weather and culture. We went to look for a place for us to rent also and we found one just near the base, P5000 a month for the rent plus water and electricity bills. It is a great place, we both liked it, we hope we could move there when the year start. Please include us in your prayers.
We just want to thank you for continuously praying for us, you are important and a part of our lives. Without your prayers and support as God led you all this things that happened will not be possible. That is why we are grateful to have you as our partners backing us in prayer that strengthen us to persevere in times of hardship and difficulties. God is Faithful and Good.
For now we will be helping with all the work here in the base because almost all staff are out for outreach. We don’t know yet what specific ministries we will be in right now but we pray that we will be working with the Discipleship training school DTS. Please include us in your prayers for strength and wisdom.
God is really good, it’s two months now I’m living here in Taiwan, but God has been so faithful in meeting our needs and even giving us more blessings. In our 2nd wedding here in taiwan it was full of surprises, linda’s friends helped for the preparation, her family accepted me warmly, about 500 people in the reception and haven’t had the chance of eating because we go from table to table to thank everyone for coming. It was a shock for me to see so many people but God provided everything and took care of us. I really thank you for your prayers and support financially for us both. It was a culture shock for me but I learned.
To God be the Glory for all the things he has done for us here in Taiwan. It was a great experience for me meeting my wife’s family. We are going back to Philippines on November and we will be with YWAM Antipolo Training Center. Meanwhile we are now here in Ywam Touyuan helping with their ministry and spending time with our friends here before we go back to Philippines.. Please do include us in your prayers, both of us are privileged to have you as our prayer partners and people who support us financially. Two months living here in Taiwan, spending time with my wife and family. Its been difficult not understanding the dialect and how to communicate but I thank God for giving us this opportunity of knowing each other more and learning both our different culture. Sometimes we had misunderstandings but I thank God for relationships that really wanting to learn and not give up.
This last month is the festival of my wife’s tribe “Amis”. I am privileged to have experienced and amazed how they preserve the culture of their tribe and using it to worship and thank God. I thought of myself as a Filipino our culture of being a Filipino or for me as from Davao really don’t know much. But for them they really preserve their culture. I thank God for my time here with my new family..
